- Are all the FIT College courses Nationally Recognised and Fully Accredited Australia Wide? Answer
Yes! All courses are Nationally recognised and accredited! FIT College is a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO Number: 31903), and we as an RTO comply to the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF, 2010). All courses, assessment and certification are Nationally Recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF, 2011). Also ALL our courses are approved for Centrelink study. If you are eligible for Centrelink finance or Austudy, speak to a representative and complete the necessary documents.
- Is there practical application and work experience in the courses? Answer
FIT College is very active our role of work experience and work placement. Our view is that if we give the students as much of a upper hand as possible, they will have all the confidence they need to take on employment or contract work and be successful. Many students pick up work straight from work experience or Vocational Placement!
We will assist in every way possible to give you the tools, knowledge and practical experience to be a successful Fitness Professional. With our face to face courses, and online courses - it is mandatory that students complete 30+ hours of work experience per certificate!
- What Certificates do you graduate with? Answer
Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness! This means you are a fully certified and accredited Personal Trainer! Not only can you work in a gym as a gym instructor or personal trainer - you can also run your own training business! You also receive "children's Trainer" as well as "older Adults Trainer" certification.

- How long does the Certificate III and IV course Online take to complete? Answer
The flexibility is to this course is the key! Many of our students are working full time and completing their studies, and others we have assisted in formulating a plan to complete the course in a set time frame. We have had students complete their FIT Master Trainer Qualification (Certificate III and IV in Fitness) in as little as 4 - 5 months, and others that wish to take well over 12 months - the choice is yours!

- Is certification via a correspondence course the same as doing it face to face? Answer
In short - Yes, all Registered Training Organisations have to use the same training package regardless of the length and study mode of the course. FIT College’s correspondence (online) course is identical to that of out face to face course! The only difference is that you don’t sit in a classroom and complete your tuition! Correspondence study involves you putting in time to carefully read, analyse and understand the material and then transfer that to the fitness ‘real world’. We also do all the assessment and final practical sessions with all online students. This ensures that our graduates are of a quality that we are satisfied with!

In order for FIT College to qualify you and assess your competence as a Trainer, there is a practical component that needs to be completed. There is a requirement that all FIT College students attend a total of 3 x 1 day workshops at one of the various FIT College campuses in QLD (or with qualified coaches Aust Wide) throughout their time with FIT College (Cert III and IV). These special practical assessment days ENSURE students are completely competent in all facets of their Personal Training and education journey. Specific dates are totally flexible with individual students and will be the opportunity to book in dates that suit their study and lifestyle. - RPL and Skills Recognition. How does the process work? Answer
Already completed Cert III in Fitness and want to only complete Cert IV? Not a problem. Chat to FIT College today and work out the best way to submit your RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) for your Certificate III. Once assessed by FIT College - we will put your plan together for completion of the competencies for Certificate IV.
PRICE: Obviously you don't pay the entire course fees for the personal trainer qualification! We will discuss the package for you when we chat.
